Scan your prescriptions prior to filling and type the prescription from the image on your screen. This image follows the prescription through your workflow.  WinScan Point-of-Sale offers the latest innovations in high-speed credit card processing, prescription tracking, delivery tracking, and electronic signature capture.  Obtain and track electronic signatures for insurance logs, credit card authorizations, charge account authorizations, and HIPAA Privacy forms, all during the checkout process.  WinScan POS also provides you with the latest innovations in prescription tracking.  Know at an instant if a prescription is: Input, Filled, In Will-Call (or other location such as refrigerator), Picked Up, Mailed, On Delivery, or Delivered. Instantly view, and even print, the customer’s signature from either the POS system or from WinRx.  The register will even prompt the clerk if the customer has prescriptions that were requested, but are waiting for doctor approval.  WinScan helps today’s busy pharmacy owner become more efficient, saving valuable time, resources and money.

Packing Slips

Packing Slips allow you to batch multiple prescriptions under one barcode. The clerk at the register then only has to scan one barcode at pickup, helping to reduce missed prescriptions.
Workflow Queue

Inventory Control

Maintaining an efficient inventory is key to the financial success of your pharmacy. Allow WinRx to keep track of your inventory and generate orders via its integrated Inventory Control features. Once setup, WinRx maintains inventory counts making incremental adjustments through the fill process and generates orders to send to your wholesaler. Multiple order check-in methods are available, and WinRx reports provide the tools to compare prices and track inventory changes.

Bin Management

This feature is an advanced tool that allows you to track the specific storage location of a prescription after it has been bagged for pickup minimizing the time spent by staff finding waiting prescriptions.

Nursing Homes/Long Term Care

WinRx contains robust nursing home features, allowing you to process prescriptions for just a few patients or large homes. For more involved processing, WinRx also contains a specific utility for OPUS processing and integrated support for MARs. Nursing home labels are customizable and can be printed to efficient thermal printers, allowing you to toss that old, noisy dot matrix printer.

Compounding

Computer-Rx provides support for prescription compounding, from the basics to batch processing. WinRx also provides and interface to the popular PK Software Compounder.

Third Party Reconciliation

Tracking claim payments can be a tiring and frustrating process. WinRx provides an easy-to-use utility to allow you to mark claims paid and track claims that may have been missed by the insurance company. If you would prefer to use a reconciliation service, Computer-Rx also has interfaces for three popular claim reconciliation services.

Workers Compensation & Major Medical

Utilizing WinRx, the confusing paper billing process for Workers Comp and Major Medical claims becomes much easier and straightforward.
